Our immersive after-school program takes kids from A to Z in becoming a true DJ and a music production artist — from mastering DJ technical skills, creating their own logo, designing their stage setup, promoting an event, to delivering an epic performance. It’s more than just DJing — it’s a journey into creativity, confidence, and showmanship! By the end of the school period, they’ll host their very own mini music festival to showcase their talent to friends and family!.
Where
The program takes place at The Station House, Downtown St Petersburg. It is a well-equipped facility designed to support learning and activities. The location is easily accessible for families in the area.
How Much
The cost is $450 per month for a twice-a-week class, and that includes all standard activities, program materials, and hands-on equipment. Everything your child needs for a fun, creative, and enriching experience is covered!
When
The program runs during the Pinellas County school year. It follows the school district's calendar to align with vacation schedules. Each week offers a structured schedule filled with engaging activities

3:30 – 3:45 | Arrival & Warm-UpCheck-in, snack/social timeQuick icebreaker or listening session (share a favorite song, rhythm game, or “DJ of the day”)
3:45 – 4:15 | Music Production Fundamentals: Introduction to music software (Ableton, GarageBand, or similar). Topics: beat-making, song structure, loops, and effectsHands-on: students create simple drum patterns or melodies
4:15 – 4:45 | DJ Skills Workshop Basics of DJ equipment: controllers, mixers, headphones, speakersPractice beatmatching, transitions, and EQ techniquesHands-on partner practice
