Schedule
🎶 DJ & Music Production Day Camp Schedule:
8:30 – 9:30 | Arrival & Warm-Up Check-in, snack/social time Quick icebreaker or listening session (share a favorite song, rhythm game, or “DJ of the day”)
10:00 – 11:00 | Music Production & DJ Fundamentals: Introduction to music software & DJ Heardware. Topics: beat-making, song structure, loops, and effects. Hands-on: students create a simple mix
11:15 – 12:45 | DJ Skills Workshop: Basics of DJ equipment: controllers, mixers, headphones, speakers. Practice beatmatching, transitions, and EQ techniques. Hands-on partner practice
1:00– 2:15 | Creative Lab / Group Projects Students work in pairs or small groups to build a mini set or beat. Rotate roles: producer, DJ, performer. Instructor gives feedback & support
2:15 – 2:30 | Showcase & Reflection Mini-performances: each student/group shares what they created. Group feedback and celebration of progress. Wrap-up with “DJ spotlight” or music trivia
